Earning Love? | # | Relationships — K.unwrapped @ 10:10 pm

"I don’t know what he sees in HER. She’s fat, she can’t dress, yet and still, he seems to be in love with her."

"She could do SO MUCH better than him…he ain’t all THAT."

Do you have to look/act/be a certain way in order to deserve unconditional love from a partner who treats you well?

  1. Then it wouldn’t be unconditional

  2. I think we are so visual that we can’t even see the thing called substance. It’s the reason people happily buy cheaply and poorly built houses, they fell in love with the floor plan, how the model was furnished and the square footage. The house that sits there with smaller space, beautifully designed and well built, is slow to go. But whoever gets it, realizes as time passes how fortunate they were not to have missed it. But they probably were purposely looking for it, so they aren’t shocked by how well it stands the test of time.

  3. Short, but very thought-provoking post. I think we are a very judgemental group…I’m mainly
speaking about women. People are in general, but we especially are. That’s why comments like
the ones you posted are uttered. It’s a shame, but those type comments will always be
spoken when a couple that look “mismatched” to others is seen strolling hand in hand. I truly
don’t think it’s always a matter of some guy trying to use a woman who is not as aesthetically
pleasing as others may think he should be with. Sometimes, it’s just about love, but that’s
so hard for people to believe.
